MakeAnEinvoice belongs to Enxendra Technologies, a company creating electronic invoice and digital signature software.
It is information added to the invoice that guarantees issuer authenticity and proves the invoice hasn't been modified.
An electronic certificate is used at the time the invoice is signed to generate this signature information.
You can download a testing certificate here clicking in 'Descarga del certificado', the key is '1111'. It is of Camerfirma (a Spanish Certification Authority).
The signature we make follows the indications made by Oriol Bausą in Invinet Sistemes for the signing of UBL documents. You can see the details in this post.
Yes, of course. Invoices created using MakeAnEInvoice use the UBL Invoice 2.0 format, an international standard made by OASIS.
Nothing. Information is only used to make the invoice, we don't store any data. In fact the service does not use a database.
The same applies to the certificate used to sign: the signing is done locally on your computer, we don't store any data from the certificate.
Tell us. We have included the mandatory information to make an invoice, but we continue adding information to complete the form. If you need some information tell us and we will consider how to add it.
This restriction does not exist in UBL 2.0, however we think the final invoice is clearer if these data are always included.
PDF is made using Crane Softwrights stylesheets, a library for displaying and printing instances of UBL 2.0 document models to HTML files and PDF files according to the United Nations Layout Key. You can get the stylesheets here.
Crane's library includes a digitally-signed manifest for using the Ibex XSL-FO engine to produce PDF results in the commercial mode without fees. Go to the Ibex site for more information.
